I don't always know just what to say,
a trait that plagues me, day to day,
so often to I fear the worst,
to open up, to end up hurt,
but you, you are not like the rest,
the feeling's deep within my chest,
sometimes, true, your words are sweet,
still, other times they're clean and neat,
at nights I stir and wonder why:
you love me so, yet you are shy,
throughout the days I yearn for more,
Its you I want, you I adore,
your touch, your kiss its filled with life,
its not a fact I can contrive,
just hold me close and don't let go,
if words are lost, just let me know.
Forever we'll live by a kiss
and know that there is more to this.

This took FOREVER. I'm still uneasy about the last line... I may end up changing it. I'm also not sure about the title. I think in general this one makes me uneasy.
Anyway comments would be wonderful and any constructive critisism would be helpful. |
